I ran into The Former Stepfather who won't leave me alone and I feel great!  Like a burden that I've been carrying for too long has been lifted.  I still love Jake and I'm still me.  It's like I've been set free.  Like I had to meet him and just leave and not care.  I was so tired of caring.
