In case you people weren't paying any attention to what the President has been saying recently. The war has been declared over and Mr. President is gradually withdrawing the troops. You don't want to do that all at once and not give Iraq a chance to get used to things but Iraq is now on the front lines and we are in the rears to support them. I see people still complaining about that and I just wanted to let people know that their wish has been granted. I don't think that America is going to give up looking for Bin Laden. What he did was treacherous and hasn't been forgotten, as much as people think that he did forget.
I think it's amazing how ungrateful and selfish we are. We whine and complain about how bad we have it when there are people who have literally NOTHING. No education, no schools. Some kids don't even make it through elementary school and most can't even read at all. They live in cardboard boxes, drink water infested with who knows what and we sit here in our homes, heaters, drinking nice clean water, over half of us have been to college and high school and can read fairly well and we complain because we don't have enough when to other countries we have EVERYTHING. What's even more amazing is that we are the richest country in the world and the most powerful and we have a high poverty rate too. We sit here and complain about wars in other countries because OUR precious people are getting killed when in all reality we just saved the lives of thousands of others. The reason why we've been in the Middle East for so long is because we had to help TWO countries come up with two DIFFERENT governments. And you say we are doing bad crap? Think about 9/11 and all the lives lost and how some people are still suffering with the grief of those they loved who were killed. I think that the next time we start whining and groaning about not having enough and how bad we have it, we should remember 9/11 and other countries who have NOTHING and then close our mouths.
I am not saying that you shouldn't voice your opinion....I'm saying that we should stop whining about what we DON'T have and look at all that we DO have already.
Just what I think is all......but I'm just a Socialist...what do I know?
